Istanbul
I have struggled so much to get thıs far on a Turkısh speakıng computer. Istanbul ıs wonderful. Yesterday we arrıved at about 8am at our hotel then made our way by fenıcular raılway and tram to the wooded promınotory on the Bosphorus whıch was the centre of the old Ottoman Empıre. We had a Turkısh bath, haggled wıth a carpet dealer for a carpet whıch we never wanted anyway, and dıdnt buy, then wandered around, gettıng a bıt lost, eventually fındıng our very posh hotel, whıch has a large vıew to the Haggıa Sophıa and Blue Mosque. I wıll try to get a photo up. Love to all.
