Thailand!
Am in Chiang Mai, with Rachel and Victor. This will be just text, till I get to London. I have heaps of photos (in particular of elephants: dancing, playing soccer, PAINTING, playing mouth organs, etc. I was very over-excited with them), but can't put them on as R and V's computer was stolen. I have enjoyed watching Rachel at work, teaching and counselling the ex-bar girls, plus some tutoring. Have loved the International Church, and various Bible studies she regularly goes to, but have really enjoyed foot-massages, tea shops, etc, and the whole tourist thing. Their home is lovely, and I have helped with some of the finishing off. Also visited the Village - both Victor's Mum and Dad sang Christian songs to me. Love , until London.

Hello my dearest Mother!!!!!!
What a wonderful adventure you're on, a path with all sorts of exciting twists and turns which will finally lead to US!
Please give Rachel's tummy a loving pat from me, and a kiss each for Rachel, Victor and you, and a stroke for Khaw!!
love Megs
thanks Mum, good to read how your journey is unfolding. Sounds a little undignified, all that Elephant palava.
Will do, my Megan. and there's a darling puppy called "Muffin". I have a pic of him with Flat Coco. Tom, I think you'd fall for the elephants too. I went with a sense of tourist duty, but I adored them.
It's so wonderful having you here, Mum. I'm so glad we have this time together.
Next on our agenda...lunch. Fried rice, perhaps?
