I love David. I love the way photos and little movies of my dear nephews make it feel as if I really know them. Can you imagine all living really close and all knowing each other's children really well? I suppose I'm the family member LEAST able to imagine this, having never ever had any of my Jones family living nearby since the advent of the Grandchildren. Enjoy little David Mum! Grandmother of SEVEN! WOW! Now THAT is impressive! (As is being MOTHER of SIX!)

That's a great book, Meggs . So very very sad, but what can you expect of a story set in the WWI trenches. And a Gretta, fancy!!
